Unlike hospital-like facilities and sprawling city-like campuses, Tore’s homes are small and intimate, giving our residents a real sense of family. Most of our residents have private rooms and each home averages only 6 to 12 residents.

Some companion rooms are available for those residents who need more social interaction. Set in North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains, residents can enjoy looking out to the scenic beauty of nature from their rooms or sitting with friends on a porch. Small gardens are available for residents to show off their green thumbs by growing their favorite flowers or vegetables, or just sitting back and watching others do the work. We provide comfortable and easily accessible transportation to medical-related appointments, outings, and special events, as well as transportation to family get-togethers and special occasions.
