Traditional Program Overview
The Traditional Program is specifically designed for individuals who benefit from robust support networks, including family, friends, and others. This program aims to supplement such support by offering a range of essential services that help maintain daily routines and independence at home.
How the Program Works
Tore’s Home Services (THS) delivers assistance on an hourly basis, tailoring the services provided to each participant’s unique needs. The following are the key offerings of the Traditional Program:
- Light housekeeping
- Help with self-administration of medication(s)
- Transportation to and from doctor’s appointments
- Shopping assistance
- Support for personal hygiene, including:
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Toileting
- Other necessary services
Service Flexibility
Clients are encouraged to communicate their specific needs, as THS may be able to offer a broader range of services than initially expected. The program is committed to adapting to individual requirements, ensuring comprehensive support for those with strong existing personal networks.

Daily Respite Care Program

The Daily Respite Care Program at Tore’s Home is specifically designed to support primary caregivers by providing professional, weekday assistance (Monday–Friday). We offer your loved one a safe, engaging environment while giving you the essential time you need to recharge.

This program is for the person who is seeking community but no longer wants to maintain their own home and wants to be around younger people.
Our Independent Living Apartments are targeted for the middle market.
- No buy-in fees – Don’t pay for services and amenities you do not need or want.
- Within minutes (less than 1.5 miles from downtown Brevard’s shops, bakeries, restaurants
- Enjoy concerts at local venues
- Participate in local educational opportunities
- à la carte menu for services needed – you decide what you need
Amenities included in the base fee:
- All inside and outside maintenance provided
- Utilities *
- Transportation within Brevard, Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm to medical appointments
- Groceries delivered once per week per YOUR shopping list
- Bi-Weekly housekeeping
Priority placement for advanced care when needed in Tore’s Home. (Must meet admission criteria. Call (828) 884-5007 for details.
We can customize a program for each resident. Additional services offered can look like the following (additional customized fees will apply):
- Assistance with self-administration of medication
- Phone call check-ins
- We may spend 10 minutes on a visit or several hours doing housekeeping or taking the client to
a doctor’s appointment - Assistance in coordinating care
- Delivery of ready-made meals prepared in our commercial kitchen
- Assistance with personal care
- Around-the-clock on-call support
